Walter Hunter is expert at assisting new businesses to commence trading, helping them to avoid the many common pitfalls that exist. Over recent years, we have helped hundreds of people in their wish of becoming their own boss.
WH have run an Accounting Clinic at the Centre of Business in Newport for new start-ups for over a decade. We often work in conjunction with the Centre to give entrepreneurs the highest-quality advice whilst ensuring costs are kept to a minimum at a time when you can least afford high fees.
Specifically we can assist you in the following areas:
- Deciding on the best corporate structure for your business (e.g. Sole Trader or Incorporated business)
- Ensuring all the authorities are aware of your organisation
- Accessing any grant funding available
- Assisting with other funding arrangements when necessary
- Preparing business plans and forecasts
- Setting up accounting arrangements (we are a member of the SAGE Accountants Club and so are able to negotiate discounts on accounting software for new start ups).
- Dealing with tax, National Insurance, VAT etc
- Running your payroll or advising how to administer it yourself
- Any other advice needed on areas such as marketing, contracting etc.
We aim to make the administrative process of starting your business as easy as possible so that you can concentrate on the business itself, and get off to a really good start!
